Hi Sean,

I hope you won't mind if I tell the Cafe list about my Kickstarter campaign...

I'm trying to raise the funding to record a new science CD for kids. The songs are inspired by interviews with Oklahoma scientists. It's rare for science media aimed at kids to focus on the process of science and what scientists actually do. It's my goal to engage kids with real science and hopefully strengthen or start a life-long interest!

If I can reach my funding goal by Dec 13 I'll be recording the new CD in Norman. For just a $5 or more pledge, you get an instant download of my first science CD, and for $25 you get that plus a signed personalized copy of the new CD. There are many other great rewards including a visit to the recording studio, your kid's voice on the CD itself, and the chance to throw a pie in my face! 

Maybe folks would be willing to take the time and money they were planning to spend on a science-related evening out tonight, and pledge it to help make some great science music for kids!
