visualising psychosis

Hello,

We're interested in a project to model and visualise the hallucinations
experienced by psychosis patients, the end goal
being to have a virtual reality environment to model psychosis.

The motivations are: to assist with diagnosis and treatment of
illnesses, to assist patients to describe their symptoms to doctors,
to improve doctors' understanding, and for education and training.

Does anyone know of any work that has been done to date in
this area?
