I am looking for commercial or public software that does the following.

I am looking for a kind of "window manager" where the windows are in a
3D space. In other words, imagine being able to zoom in/out and
rotate your X windows. I think this software would take the form of a
layer on top of X where additional control functions are provided for
3D manipulation of the windows relative to the display plane.
Some windows would display 2D information and some windows would display 3D info
rmation. Windows with 3D scenes would most likely stay parallel to the
display and rotations would take place within the window. 3D graphics
is of course beyond the scope of X. OpenGL or some equivalent might be
used.

Thank you for your help.
