Does someone know something about researches and/or scientific works
about application of VR technology to rehabilitation, to psychological
diseases, to brain injuries (Alzeimer or other).. ?

Waiting for E-mail replies, thanks you..

Well we are just about to embark on a joint study with the
the Clinical Psy. Dept. at the Astley Ainslie Hospital,
Edinburgh. We'll be doing some studies looking at the
application of VR to the re-habilitation of patients with
head injuries. Experiments are still waiting to run but we
would hope to have pilot work completed and written up by
beginning/mid of next year.

I believe someone at Glasgow Caledonian was supposed to be
going to colaborate with Bob Stone's lot on some work in
this area. Maybe if one of them reads this they might post
some details (hope it wasn't a secret!)

Other things that might be of use: I believe that Laurence
Whalley who I think is now at the Uni. of Aberdeen used to
be interested in such things and some of his published work
might cover this. Additionally, there was an editorial or
something about 6 months ago by David Rose (London) and
David Johnson (Astley Ainslie) in one of the medical
journals - a quick citation search will probably locate it -
about VR and rehabilitation.
