Hello,

EasyFit allows to automatically fit more than 40 distributions to
sample data and select the best model in seconds. The integrated
environment provided by EasyFit includes data management, data
analysis, and reporting capabilities enabling you to organize your work
and make it even more productive.

Key features:
- 40+ probability distributions including several advanced ones (GEV,
Generalized Pareto, Generalized Logistic, Wakeby)
- automated and manual fitting modes
- goodness of fit tests
- high-quality graphs
- random number generator

In addition, EasyFit includes the StatAssist tool allowing to view
distribution graphs and related properties (mean, variance, standard
deviation etc.) without entering the data, as well as to calculate the
inverse CDF values and tail probabilities. StatAssist is also available
as a stand-alone application.

i want to test the goodness of fit of my sample (daily maximum rainfall data) for log pearson 3. what input data is required? is it necessary to provide probability density function? or only the daily rainfall data enough?

Nancy, you have responded to an announcement that is 11 years old. I would be ~very~ surprised if Antony Drokin or anyone else from MathWave Technologies is monitoring this newsgroup. Assuming your question is about how to use EasyFit to solve your problem, I suggest you visit the website and look for Contact Us information.
