"Statistics is like bikini. What's shown is important; what's covered
is vital."

Do you have any idea whose words there are? I tried and find that in
Internet, but failed.

Best regards,
Wolf

Google for <"is like a bikini" >, using the quotation marks.
I found the first noun as "an average", as well as "statistics".

The earliest that I found, in the few that I looked at, was
Peter Duesberg with an original publication data Oct 11, 1990.
His quote was "Epidemiology ..." in his book "Infectious AIDS".
It helps if you have a high-speed connection -- I think I may
have downloaded a 582-page book.
