Operation Fetch the Space Station: NASA announces audacious $1bn
plan to tow the ISS to Earth on the back of a spaceship - then
slingshot it into the Pacific Ocean

OK ... STUPIDEST PLAN *EVER* !!!
How about spending a TENTH that amount to just
boost the thing into a slightly higher, stable,
orbit ? Then it becomes a "parts bin" for future
endeavours.
Hmm ... ever see that movie "Valerian" (ok, it was
basically French, lost a lot in the translation).
Instead of destroying space assets they just kept
BUILDING on them until they had a huge space
station.
Costs a bleedin' FORTUNE to build/launch this stuff.
