Elon Musk could step in to save Hubble! SpaceX offers to help
raise the altitude of NASA's space telescope to stop it falling
out of orbit - and further extend the lifetime of the 32-year-old
instrument
NASA and SpaceX are to study the possibility of a private mission
to help Hubble
The orbiting observatory – which was launched in 1990 – is slowly
losing altitude
. . .
Thank you Mr. Musk !
NASA - GO FOR IT !
The Hubble is still doing excellent work and if there's
a way to fix the orbit then DO it.
I've wondered if Musk could design a sort of robotic
handyman to SERVICE the internal components too. Could
be much more dexterous than an astronaut in a pressure
suit.
