I have 2 network cards
NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 : drives 2 desktop DVI NEC LCD displays.
ATI Radeon HD 5770: connected to a miniDVI to HDMI adaptor, connected
to a DENON amplified which is connected to a Sharp TV.
When I turn the DENON amp on, both the desktop screesn go blue for a
couple of seconds, often flashing one or twice. Then, same thing happens
when I turn on the TV. (the trick is to turn on the TV before the amp
so that the flashing happens once). Same thing happens when they are
being powered off.
Yet, when I turn on/off of the LCD desktop displays, there is no flashing.
When I turn off the TV or the amp, it re-arranges the desktop to put
stuff that was on the TV into the 2 remaining LCDs.
However, when I turn off either LCD, this doesn't happen, and there is
no "scree going blue" process.
Is there a way to avoid the screen going blue for a few seconds whenever
I turn the TV or amp on/off ?
(this also happens if the amp is told to get its source from a sony vcr
or from the TV itself, the Mac notices that it has lost connectivity to
the TV)
