I've begin work on a new e-magazine to be called Space
Policy Digest. It's goal is to provide a venue for
opinion and
supporting news on the bigger space policy questions
that lie behind
the pretty pictures of rockets, space stations and
planetary bases.

As part of this, I'd like to have a diverse group
columnists and article writers from government, industry
and the
space advocacy community.

What are the kinds of submissions?

Letters to the Editor

Limited to 250 words
We need your name and a way to contact you (email or
other). We
prefer an email address where we can forward responses

Columns

500-1000 words
Can be submitted in text, MS Word or html format

We need a "one line biography" to go with the column

Articles

No limit (although we reserve the right to edit)
Can be submitted in text, MS Word or html format
Any graphics should be submitted in GIF or JPEG format
for inclusion.

I can't offer any payment at this point, internet
publshing is not
(for me anyway) a for-profit business, but I'm hoping
you'd like the
regular venue.

My plans are to have the first issue (that's not really
an appropriate
term in web publishing, but my backround in conventional
journalism
shows) ready at the beginning of April.

Stop by http://spacepolicy.org for an update on progress and bios of
some of our regular columnists.

There's also an exciting article in the works on the politics of life
on Mars.

More to come. You can be part of it. Guest columns and articles are
always welcome.
