Sorry, I wasn't following news new group threads or
annoucements. Could someone clue me in on topics to
be discussed in sci.space.history please.

I am a great fan of space development and have followed
events in space for a long time.

And, FWIW, was once a leader for Young Astronauts club.

Cheers, Ed Humphries

Ed:
Welcome to Sci.Space.History!
This newsgroup is dedicated to discussion of all completed
spaceflight endeavors, by all spacefaring nations. Specificly, we are
hoping to promote discussions on Projects Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo,
Vostok, Voshkod, and Soyuz space launches, retired rocket booster
vehicles, the careers and lives of all astronauts and cosmonauts,
technical information concerning spacecraft, etc. Rosters and builder's
data is also welcomed. The group is also open to the discussion of
unmanned and robotic spacecraft
Posting of binaries is not permitted, nor is discussion of
alien's, supposed extra-terrestrial visitations, and alien spacecraft. This
group is unmoderated, so we are requesting self-policeing by the participants.
The suggested method for this is simply not to reply to notices which do
not conform to the forum (get rich quick schemes, flames, lures to
explicitly off-topic sites, etc.).
Since this newsgroup is dedicated to sharing historical
information about spaceflight, we recognize that some participants
will be experts in their field of interest, while other will be
just seeking new knowledge and facts. This is an open site, so go
for it; ask questions, offer answers, and learn.
Welcome to SCI.SPACE.HISTORY!
