The Diversity of species that branch out as life progresses can be
paralleled to the Economic Factors of MONOPOLY, OLYGOPOLY and PERFECT
COMPETITION levels of business, where the 'barrier to entry' is higher
towards the MONOPOLY top end of the Economic Pyramid.
TECHNOLOGY Intellectual Property <> Specialised SKILL
NAMING RIGHTS Intellect.Property <> Specialised Appearance
With so much divergence of the species, it's hard to imagine how the
"green and yellow stripes" of a Frog can aid in it's survival, they
are akin to a Trademark in the Economic Evolving World.
The green and yellow frog is just the green and yellow BP SIGN on the
side of the road.. a communication system that says "SLOW DOWN" or
"POISON - BEWARE!"
The rare KOALA BEAR has a rather unique adaptive advantage.
It's special skill is to WAIT OUT THE ENEMY! By sitting still high in
a tree, for long, long, long periods of time!
If all else fails, the KOALA BEAR is too SEDATE to run away from the
odd predator that reaches the tree tops or striking as the KOALA
crosses the ground from tree to tree, so it's only BACKUP SURVIVAL
SKILL is to "look cute and cuddly". Now who would kill a Koala Bear
really?
The prolific Kangaroo's special skill is to HOP around thick lantena
ground bush faster than any other animal can. The only "side effect"
is it requires 3D binocular vision to the front like humans have, and
can't check left and right when it crosses the road! Hence
Australian Bush Vehicles all have ROO BARS!
The MONOPOLY RIGHT or SPECIAL SKILL OR MARKING of evolution is
exploited by the species until more and more attributes establish in
the species (the company) to optimise the skill and catalyse it's
dominant presence for that terrain.
