Biostatistician
* Design and analysis of laboratory experiments. * Evaluation of new technologies. * Compiling and reporting statistical data for publications of research studies in peer-reviewed journals. * Data mining of publicly available data to generate new hypotheses. :
* Master's degree in statistics. * Proficiency in R or SAS. * Familiarity with relational databases (SQL). * Ability to apply statistics to scientific problems (not necessarily in the medical sciences). * Confidence in understanding the principles underlying standard statistical methods. * Excellent communication skills including effective graphical presentation of data. * Capability to think and work independently.
