Dear Fellows,

I am currently working on a logo for a doctorate program in
bioengineering at a University in Southamerica.

If you were so kind as to review the logo in the attached link and
provide your feedback, I would be forever grateful. We are trying to
determine how does the logo resonate with our potential audience.

I start thinking about the expression: " ... and the world is your
oyster".

Well, this might be the case for the fresh BSc graduates in the past 5
years, but those damn Gen Y'ers are about to learn it othervise.

I like the "the world is your oyster" analogy.
Thanks for the feedback!

That's good that you like it. However, remember that higher education
is not a cause of the world being your oyster; it is a mere enabler or
catalyst.

Given the fact that this program thrives in an environment where
Doctorate programs do not abound, I think the analogy resonates with
the audience.
The individuals joining this program might be intrigued by the idea of
contributing to the world, which resonates with a country that is
struggling to stop being defined as an underdeveloped country. What do
you think?

In today's world, the people who earn the most are the people who are
_doing_ most, and therefore they are contributing to the world's
development most. Therefore, the wannabe contributors are better to go
into law and business rather than into science. Understood ?
