I'm a new, mature Ph.D. student in the UK - I've been accepted by a
department etc, and, whilst I can fund myself for a while, I will need to
find other sources.

arithmetic and estimation.
If you have any suggestions as to possible sources of funding, please let me
know, e.g., educational focused charities, research councils, ...
