Why would an attractive woman with a decent job marry a man that is psychopathic?

Lets say that I have a friend that I have known for a long, long time.
I am 99.9% sure that he is a text book psychopath. Recently, this
"friend" of mine got married to an attractive women that has
respectable job.

You can't intimitaley know this guy without knowing he is off kilter
and potentially dangerous; she dated him for over a year and half. If
she probably knew he was sick and potentially dangerous before she
married him, why would she go through with the marriage?

I meet both of them after the marriage for a meal at a Cafe. As soon
as I saw her, she started doing some of those antisocial thngs
pshycopaths do; for example, little subtle verbal and non-verbal quips
designed to trigger the anger mechanism in the brain.

What's the probability that she is a psychopath, too?

She could have picked it up from him. Since she married him, most
likely could have been attracted to him, as apparently you must have
been at one time. Most people don't have strong defenses against
psychopaths.
