(1) Use of PSYSHE Lists
As in the past, PSYCHE-A will be used to distribute titles and abstracts
of new content published by PSYCHE. PSYCHE-L will be used to distribute
the full text of new content. This content will be distributed in the
form of pdf attachments, rather than in ASCII formatted documents that
are included it in the body of the email itself, as has been current
practice. Of course, all content published by PSYCHE is also available
on the web: http://psyche.cs.monash.edu.au/
Instructions on how to subscribe to PSYCHE-A and PSYCHE-L are reproduced
below.
Recent PSYCHE publications will be distributed in the manner just
outlined starting June 7th, 2004.
(2) Changes to the editorial policy
PSYCHE is no longer accepting unsolicited manuscripts. Instead, PSYCHE'
will focus on providing book reviews and in-depth and inter-disciplinary
symposia. Persons interested in reviewing books for PSYCHE are urged to
contact the editor, Tim Bayne (tba...@scmp.mq.edu.au).
Finally, I would like to thank Patrick Wilken for his service to the
consciousness studies community in founding and editing PSYCHE. Patrick
invested an enormous amount of time and energy into PSYCHE, and we are
all very much in his debt.
All the best, Tim Bayne
