Hello inventors and engineers ¡

May be you know which type of hot melt is used textil
adhesion, this type of
hot melt are used in Germany ( i do not know if they are
using ) when is used in cloth, pants, skirts, etc and also
is used to fabricate fusionable textils, the particularity
of this is that avoid the excesive penetration of hotmelt in
textil fabrics (cotton only or a mix with polyesther) it
will be used like a adhesive in textil
to textil hot application, this excesive penetration cause a
"stain" in the opposed side of the textil because a little
different color when the hotmelt enter in the fiber, for
example this "stain" is not produced when is using
Polietilene (PE) like hotmelt and observing we can see that
this polymer do not penetrate the textil.

>>>We are using "Foss" Low Melt Polyester at Cotton Incorporated to
bind fibers together for a 90/10 Cotton/Polyester with a carpet end
use.
This can be used on fabrics as well with good results with the same
blend. Also used are "Allied Fibers" Low Melt Nylon. Both of these
fibers have a low melting point and can be heat set with relative
ease. The synthetic fibers melt down and migrate to the intersecting
points of the Cotton fibers to decrease shedding in the carpet
applications that we are researching at the present.
Hope this helps!
