The Language of God: A Scientist Presents Evidence for Belief

Most scientists do not believe in God for two simple reasons: they see
no evidence for him; and they find no need to include supernatural
elements in the models they build to describe their observations.
Still, they are largely content to assign science and religion to
separate domains, which Stephen Jay Gould calls "non-overlapping
magisteria". This allows non-believing scientists to dodge the topic of
religion altogether, thus avoiding jeopardizing what is most precious
to them -- their funding. It also permits scientists who do believe
in God to compartmentalize their thinking and never discuss science and
religion in the same breath.
However, this is not possible if you are Francis Collins -- an
evangelical Christian and head of the Human Genome Project. The
Language of God is Collins's personal attempt to explain how he
reconciles his science and his faith. Early on, he affirms what has
become the disingenuous position of many scientists in the US and of
organizations such as the National Academy of Sciences -- that
science has nothing to say about God and the supernatural. This flies
in the face of the facts. Many reputable scientists are doing research
that could, in principle, demonstrate the existence of the
supernatural.
In the October issue of Physics World, atheist and regular aristarch of
religion Victor J Stenger presents his reasons why The Language of God
does not live up to its promise of providing "evidence for belief".

Victor J Stenger is emeritus professor of physics at the University of
Hawaii and adjunct professor of philosophy at the University of

Right here by your very own example is a microcosm of why the
world is so fucked up:... because of religious morons, like you,
who feel to be possessed to have some special dispensation
and rights that their emotional aberration cannot and must not
be questioned, because religion, a fucking illogical belief

then keep it as the most precious, personal & secret affair between
you and your god. It's nobody else's biz, and especially not any

base for the sociopathy of Monotheism has infected the
World's population with a cursed triumvirate that consists of
0.23% being Jews, 33.03% Xians & 20.12% being Muslims.
Then there're 13.34% Hindus, 5.89% Buddhists & 0.39% Sikhs
who've escaped Abe's cursed faith but they have irrational quirks
of their own. All these religious people do add up to 73% of
humankind. IOW *** 3/4 of all people are mentally ill ****
There are 12.61% under "other religions" & 2.36% are Atheists
all of which are also damaged goods, which leaves less then 1/8
of humankind, 12.03%, that are non-religious or rational people.
With 7/8 of humanity behaving irrationally, like you do, needing
fairy tales to be told at, to be capable to go thru life's tribulations...
should make it incandescently clear to you to understand now
why things are in the sorry state they are.... and should make you
stop, cease and desist immediately with proselytizing religion ...
All that the 3 pus-ball religions, Judaism, Xianity and Islam,
all of them being a curse onto humanity, have demonstrated
is to be useful only to kill each others disciples and followers...
and to enslave or destroy the ones who do not believe in their
