Don't fall for it. Mastering Physics is an algorithmic problem
generator, randomly changing the values of variables in a problem
every time.

This is not only spam, but a fraudulent scam.

Reported.

Solutions for All problems in the Mastering Physics Online Problem
Set

They begin at problem 15.2 and go through problem 31.18. It's all one
word doc (88 pages) so its easier to search for the problems by doing
a ctrl +f and typing in the words on the problem. I can provide
solutions to any one problem for proof of document.

Which is a neat trick, since Mastering Physics generates problems
algorithmically, and so they vary every time they're given.

Ontario bans coal to "save" the planet!

Want proof that idiot liberals should never be put in charge of anything
practical or involving technology? The ObamaCare website was pretty rock
solid evidence, but now Ontario, Canaduh, disgusted with both the lack
of progress in funneling money to Third World countries to "say we are
sorry" for civilization and their own major CO2 pollution which they
promised to curb but never did, they are now banning the use of coal.

This is going to funny as they push this through right before winter.
Luckily Canaduh is a tropical paradise! They plan to make up the
difference by listening to the Whup-whup of wind "turbines" and solar
power. No doubt the tropical sun will generate that seven and a half
BILLION watts of electricity needed to make up that loss when coal
plants shut down.

The only good news here is that morons in Canaduh like those in Japan
and Germany who shut down all nuclear power plants for no reason to
accelerate that slide back to the middle ages, will at least provide
positive proof that all these liberal fantasies are total nonsense. It's
just too bad the residents of Ontario have to freeze to death to provide
the data.

They say since wind doesn't blow all the time nor does the sun shine at
night, they plan to make up the couple of missing billion watts by
burning "biomass" whatever that means! I'm sure that biomass doesn't
produce any CO2 when it burns. I wonder what they are talking about? Are
they talking about burning food again (and starving even MORE African
babies) or are they talking about burning trees! Wow! Burning trees!
Now THERE is a lose-lose idea!

You get the picture. The good news is the total lack of liberal
intelligence and logic is soon to be quite evident. The bad news is that
when a gullible public puts them in charge, they pull us all down with them.

Hey, SAMMY, you hypocrite, have you terminated your electric service and
traded your Prius for a bicycle yet? Join your Canadian comrades in a
joyous return to the middle ages! Gaia is depending on YOU!

"Canada is the planet's 17th largest emitter of coal-related greenhouse gas
emissions, spewing 76 million metric tons (MtCO2) of carbon dioxide into the
atmosphere in 2012. (The United States, in contrast, emitted 1626 MtC02
while China's emissions hit 6990 MtCO2.)"

Not Ontario but US and China save the planet.
The only greenhouse gases is the H2O and methane. H2O is emitted by burning
gas and oil. Also the nuclear plants emit more H2O than the coal plants.
The CO2 and fly ash are the nutrient for the plants.

I used Mastering Physics when I was in college.
The problems are algorithmically generated, so the numbers are different
for each student.
This looks like a con to me.

This sounds like a con. Mastering Physics has algorithmically generated
problems, which means the problems change every time. No two people get
the same questions twice. And so there ARE no static answer sets.

I need help with the following mastering physics problems...
1. As a roller coaster car crosses the top of a 50-m-diameter loop-the-loop, its apparent weight is the same as its true weight. What is the car's speed at the top?
2. A 200 g block on a 52-cm-long string swings in a circle on a horizontal, frictionless table at 75 rpm. What is the speed of the block? What is the tension in the string?
3. A 22 cm diameter bowling ball has a terminal speed of 72 m/s. Suppose that the density of air is 1.2 kg/m3 What is the ball's mass?
4. What is the tension in the rope of figure 1? The figure shows a man hanging from the left side of a pulley he weighs 60N and a weight of 100N on the right side.
5. A 75 kg passenger is seated in a cage in the Sling Shot, a carnival ride. Giant bungee cords are stretched as the cage is pulled down, and then they rebound to launch the cage straight up. After the rapid launch, the cords go slack and the cage moves under the influence of gravity alone. What is the rider’s apparent weight after the cords have gone slack and the cage is moving upward?
6. A crate pushed along the floor with velocity v⃗ i slides a distance d after the pushing force is removed. If the crates mass is doubled, but initial velocity is not changed, what distance does the crate slide before stopping? express answer in terms of D
If the initial velocity of the crate is doubled to 2v⃗ i but the mass is not changed, what distance does the crate slide before stopping?
Express your answer in terms of d.

I have tried each and every one of these questions and I'm still so lost, I would greatly appreciate your help, thank you!

Trivial, 0

75 rpm at r of 52cm in a circle is how fast ?

tension is like force.....

3. A 22 cm diameter bowling ball has a terminal speed of 72 m/s.

lamaner flow or turbulent ? (turbulent)

4. What is the tension in the rope of figure 1? The figure

+

not enough info, need T and V

In a physics laboratory experiment, a coil with 240 turns enclosing an area of 11.0 cm2 is rotated during the time interval 4.90×10-2 s from a position in which its plane is perpendicular to Earth's magnetic field to one in which its plane is parallel to the field. The magnitude of Earth's magnetic field at the lab location is 6.00×10-5 T .

I wondered what happened to my TV reception last night.

Any word on where this "physics laboratory experiment" took place?

Or is the location encoded in the information, "The magnitude of
Earth's magnetic field at the lab location is 6.00×10-5 T"?

Does this describe only one location?

Did you include all relevant text from this homework problem?

Two identical small metal spheres with differing charges are separated by 1.00 × 105 m and exert an 18.9-N repulsive force on each other. A wire is connected between the spheres and then removed. The spheres now repel each other, exerting a 22.5-N force. Assume both charges are positive.
a) Determine the total charge of this system.

b) Determine the charges of the spheres before the connection.

Is my opinion correct that
charge remaining on the wire is neglected ?

Otherwise wire and sphere diameters are IMHO needed.
