Mr. Eleaticus asks: "Why do like things repel each other ?"

Abian answers

It is not that like things repel each other (in fact like things very
often like to attract each other) IT IS THE SPACE THAT FIGHTS THE
CONCENTRATION OF OF THE LIKE THINGS IN ORDER NOT TO ALLOW CONCENTRATED
PRESENCE OF AN INTRUDING FOREIGN ELEMENT THREATENING THE STATUS QUO
OF SPACE'S VOIDNESS. IT IS SPACE THAT REPELS THE LIKE THINGS. Space
acts like Slobodan Milosovic! - like any other political organization
repelling intruders. However very often not succeeding and surrendering
to the intruder which in its turn fights whatever threatens the
preservation of its status quo.

Gaining a feeling of security is the penultimate grand unifying theory
of the origin of every, every action, of any animate or inanimate
object, of an electron, of a proton, of a neutron, of a virus of
a bacterium of a person of a planet of a solar system and of the entire
Cosmos.
THE eternal battle between the Void of Space and the intruding MASS
must be considered absolutely as the most fundamental basis for
developing theories of physics, astronomy, astrophysics, etc., etc

What? 'like any other political organization'???? Is space a political
organization? Intriguing!

The penultimate? I thought it was the ultimate theory. What's the
ultimate theory, all-knowing-one?

No. Not until you define your terms, and make falsifiable predictions.
Otherwise it's not science.

BTW could you please stop sending e-mails with your usenet posts. It's
very rude.

Science has determined that the smell of a "thig"
is extremely repulsive to other thigs.

It is interesting to note, that when thigs are in heat
( One day every year. ), that the smell goes away,
and at this time, they do not repel each another.

The ideas of the Greeks are back again! Who are you Abian, Aristotle
reborn ? :)

Why do like things repel? Not necessarily! Some like things attract,
like Bose-Einstein condensates. The details of why, for example, like
electric charges repel and so on have to be left on a book in quantum
field theory, which, Abian in particular should, like, start reading.

Oops! I entered the wrong forum which I thought was for Physics’ new theories.
It turned out to be Physically new couples.
;-)
I certainly know love but what was that fairy floss?
: )
It looks like it could have something to do with space and photons.

'Penultimate' is a trendy word used incorrectly by persons who have heard it
and think it means 'ultimate' but think it sounds even more intelligent. My
X-wife, the ignorant cow, started doing it shortly before I divorced her but
by that time I had given up on her and never even corrected her. Hearing it
come from a wannabe intellectual from iastate in the midst of a self
absorbed spewing of vacuous effluent causes me to 'flashback' to how much I
detested that ignorant bitch. Luckily, Abian can be killfiled with no
expenditure of attorney fees. (Don't they have dictionaries at iastate? Or
doesn't wiz-boy Abian know how to use one? Hint: the words are in
alphbetical order. Further hint: alphabetical means in the order of the
letters in the alphabet. Reference Material:
ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ<---print this out and keep it handy, Abian)

Hey, Abian! I was reading about you just yesterday! You're a legend or
something. One thing the article didn't make clear though: are you a
goofball, a nutcase, or just an idiot?

On 4 May 1999 04:36:12 GMT, ab...@iastate.edu (Alexander Abian) slid
this under the door:
