There is no way to win a war against the beliefs of others. Hawking
and his ilk will not get their way. Nobody does.

Stephen Hawking is just a chemical scum on the surface of the earth.

I know what he is fighting against.
"We don't need God."

He is too stupid to see you cannot argue other people's beliefs.
No Hawking is a dangerous indiviual who has no respect for what is
respectable in religion.
He is an intimidator in the world of science. And as such I don't want
to have much to do with him.

I think he's perfectly capable of understanding that you can't use
reason to change a belief people hold for emotional purposes. He's
also capable of understanding that there is no reason to allow such
people to restrict what can be learned about the universe.

In other words, physics is capable of explaining
the appearance universe.

That's hardly a crusade to snatch other
people's religious beliefs from them.

> He is too stupid to see you cannot argue other people's beliefs.

And I don't see him trying to.

He offered his opinion on a matter of science, that's all.
But you act as he is mounting a world-wide campaign,
steeped in steely resolve to smash religion forever.

A bit of an over-reaction, wouldn't you say?

Hawking won't have his way all of the way. This is due to hypocritic
religion that can win. There are right people in science and religion
that won't go over to extermism. These are the valuable people from
both sides.

You religious idiots crack me up.

You claim that your religions preach "truth" but they all preach
*different* things they claim as truth.

Worse, none of the "truths" they preach are testable. You either
accept them at face value or not. Then, you get to feel superior to
the *other* religions which to you obviously preach *false* truths".
Of course adherents of the other religions do the same to you...

What really pisses you off about Hawking is that what he says *is*
testable. Anything he says is either true or false in the only way
that matters; either it matches what Reality does, or it doesn't.

None of your "truths" have anything to do with reality.

Why do religious idiots like you bother posting to science groups?
So you can try to "win a war against the beliefs of others"?

You will fail. The "beliefs" of science have evidence to back them
up.

Yours don't.

I have a very interesting 'theory' about Stephan Hawking.

There is something odd with his disease. (Usually people with ALS die
sooner. )
Maybe he has no ALS, but is secretly (and long term) sedated, hence
cannot move, but is more or less concious.

Then someone uses remote-control technology to maneuver his wheel-chair
around and operate his speech synthesiser.

This is used to spread disinformation and create a trusted source for
fraudulent science.

(Disclaimer: this is *just a weird idea'. )

Thank you.

Religion is kept in check in the USA by the Constitution and the

irrational people who bred more like themselves, so its a never ending

I just don't understand how the word 'high IQ' got associated with the word "bright"?

It's some kind of...conspiracy.

Religion and their beliefs are plainly fantasies.
They suck the energies and priorities of people in this world and they
harbor evil intentions.

Hawking and all righteous people are against superstition....and that

There must be a link, somehow.

It is a kind of ...common sense.

Well, you can invent another system....but so far, there is none.

The trick and con game are all in the scripture, you should know if
you have the required IQ.

It doesn't, but brightest person can be spotted in the crowd. Not you
though !

You want a break for what?

That was the result of human intolerance, when new ideas could not be
accepted by the tyrants.
What happen in modern days when new software is invented to link
people?

So are the ruling class in the current ARAB world.

We only saw the controlled freaks in those days....and they could not
survive nowadays.

It should be Pixie Delusion......both god and pixie are same.

So, you still prefer those slavery, crusading wars, inquisitions,
witch burning........?

You mean you are not on pot, so the pixie appears?
That is not the real world, may be billions of light years away?

Of course there is. Otherwise people still wouldn't follow basic hygiene
rules but their old superstitions.

Most people do. If you don't, you should consider changing your occupation.

| Of course there is.

Of course there isn't, you've just refused to change your belief.

The one that is doing all the yapping..probably talking about God and religion...

I find it strange...
some might consider Richard Dawkinks to be an atheist...but he sure
talks a lot about religion and God...
I think Richard Dawkins is *obsessed* with God.
He puts the word 'GOD' on the cover of his books in one form or another..

The God Delusion --- He put it right in the middle

The Greatest Show on Earth --- GOD is Great...?

Why We Believe in God --- He just did the 'foreword' but he couldn't resist it! (He's obsessed with God)

How about this title? The Blind Watchmaker

That title has the word "GOD" all over it!!! Watcher maker is God, and Blind is Delusion.

Don't tell me Richard Dawkins is an atheist, he's toooo religious!

Godless: -- another 'foreword' inserted by him...man this guy is giving me the creeps!!!!

River out of Eden?

A Devil's Chaplain?

I'm betting Richard Dawkins has a cross tatoo on his backside where girls usually put a tatoo...

God, the Devil, and Darwin: A Critique of Intelligent Design Theory ? another 'foreword insert!

If I write a book and put GOD on the cover, I can get Richard Dawkins to do a foreword!!!!

Richard Dawkins has the 'hotts' for God!

ob·ses·sion

noun /?b?seSH?n/
obsessions, plural

The state of being obsessed with someone or something
- she cared for him with a devotion bordering on obsession

An idea or thought that continually preoccupies or intrudes on a person's mind
- he was in the grip of an obsession he was powerless to resist

an unhealthy and compulsive preoccupation with something or someone

Don't tell me Richard Dawkins is an athiest....he's a closet Christian.

He talks more about God than all the TV evanglist put together!!!
