Excellent. An adapter to fit an iphone camera to a standard rifle
scope, an app for the iphone, and any rifle will be able to do it.

I give it about six months.

Sam Wormley <swor...@gmail.com> cut and pasted from some web site:
Whoop de doo!

I can hit targets all day long at 1000 yards with my $800 target rifle
and $400 optical target scope at a savings of $20,800 and so can anyone
else.

The key to hitting things at that range is NOT the aiming system but
in learning how to hold the rifle consistantly and how to pull the
trigger.

However, once again the ass hat's cut and paste post has absolutely
nothing to do with physics.

Well, not quite.

The dispersion of most off the shelf rifles is too large to shoot accurately
at that range.

Most standard issue military rifles and hunting rifles will have 3 to 6
minute of angle (MOA), sniper rifles 1 to 3 MOA, and bench rest target
rifles .15 to .3 MOA.

3 MOA at 1,000 yards is roughly 30 inches.
