Since the 1990s, evidence is accumulating that the inner and outer
core are both solid body rotation, even though the outer core is
liquid and that the outer core is rotating faster than the entire rest
of the planet is rotating. Only the EM force is strong enough to
exhibit a iron liquid inner core to rotate in rigid body rotation and
be faster than the rest of the planet.
This characteristic of Earth implies the Sun has no mass-gravity, nor
does it have General Relativity. The Sun has only EM force.
The core and out to the tachocline of the Sun is EM in action and the
remainder of the Sun to the surface where we see sunspots is almost
rigid body rotation. I say almost because there is a slight
differential rotation. But neither mass gravity of Newton nor General
Relativity can have a rigid body rotation of the entire Sun from
center out to sunspots. Only EM force is strong enough to keep the Sun
together. If the universe had only gravity to hold astro bodies
together, the Sun and all stars would dissipate out into space very
quickly.
