Note: I started writing this book in 2009, based upon my thinking in physics from 1999 after I discovered a new formula linking mass and energy. This is work in progress; I have not worked on it since 2011. There is plenty to add, based upon my sporadic writings in sci.physics and elsewhere.

A New Look towards the Principles of motion

by Arindam Banerjee

A book for all keen young minds

Introduction

A New Look upon the Dynamics of Bodies

A professional engineer’s revision of the fundamentals of physics, for understanding better the workings of Nature; to triumph in Space by creating a new class of engines that could accelerate a craft beyond the speed of light; and for eco-friendly future technologies.

Beginning with answers to such important practical questions as:

“Can we go to light speed with rocket technology?”
“Is there a sound equation to relate mass with energy?”
“Can there be antigravity engines for space travel?” “Can we use them to replace existing engines on Earth?”
“How can we make a flying saucer?

we go on to find possible new answers to other interesting questions as

“Why is the Sun hot?”
“What does the interior of the Earth look like?” “How do the Earth and Sun have magnetic fields?”
“What really are heat and light? What is entropy – and why did this concept originate?”
“How do nuclear and other explosions create bursts of energy?”
“Exactly how does the Earth rotate around the Sun? Why does a coin fly off a turntable?”
“What was the greatest bungle in physics?”
“How can we solve our pure water and energy problems?”
“What does the Universe really look like?”
