I am searching for data on the refractive index and dispersion of
gaseous fluorocarbons (for use as a radiator medium in a Ring-imaging
Cherenkov counter), especially in the ultraviolet region
(160 - 230 nm), but data in the visible region would be useful too.

The gases I am looking for are:

Tetrafluoromethane (CF4, Freon 14)
Hexafluoroethane (C2F6, Freon 116)
Octofluoropropane (C3F8, Freon 218)
Octofluorocyclobutane (C4F8, Freon C318)
Decafluorobutane (C4F10, Freon 610)

So far, I have found data for CF4 only.

Please tell me also if you know of other gases which are transparent
in the above mentioned wavelength region, have a refractive index
n > 1.0003 at standard conditions and a low dispersion (and are inert
and non-toxic).
