remember), happened shortly after WWII had ended and by all
probability after them finding out that Soviets had all the
know-how from day one.

The information was relayed to Soviets by the British. Churchill
didn't want a monopoly in this type of arms. Half of the
scientists creating them also firmly felt so as soon as they'd
seen the light at the end of the tunnel.

All Eastern European scientists were against such disclosures,
having tasted Stalin's hand in one way or another. A few Jews
among the western scientists were against it as well. But the
rest of the western scientists were for sharing all that
information. And they weren't all Jews, sweetie.
