Your esteemed moderator, James Logajan, has taken upon himself to censor
the material which he will allow you to see. The following is a copy of
the letter he sent me, the material he wishes to censor, and my reply to
him.
This kind of activity is one of the problems that has kept physicists
from making the advancements that is required to solve such fundamental
problems as the questions about dark matter.
Well over 50 years ago, plasma physicists promised a new source of
energy in 50 years. Where is it and why don't we have it? They are
still giving us the same promises of a new energy source in 50 years.
It is the fault of unimaginative and dogma entrenched people like this
moderator which is keeping physics from making the advances that is
required in these difficult times.
Physicists are just as responsible for the wars we are fighting over
oil, and the loss of American lives in Iraq, as any politician, today.
Failed promises are not acceptable! And neither is scientific censorship!!!

Time is a Vector
The following are the differential equations for the vector Time:

In the above equations, the value for c, the speed of light, comes from=20

times two-pi. The vector omega defines the rotational axis for a photon=20
orbiting about a fixed point in space.
The source of equation (1) is a particle, whose source is a photon,=20
defined by equation (2). Photons are emitted by any body of mass which=20
has thermal energy. Consider a Star which emits photons: these photons=20
are snap-shots of the properties of the particles which emit them, at=20
the instant of time when they were emitted. The properties which the=20
photon has during its travel through space are constant. They do not=20
change. They are conserved. According to equation (3), those=20
properties are mass, time, frequency and energy. The frequency of the=20
photon is the rate of time at which the energy of the photon was=20
emitted. This is the color which visible photons have. Duration of=20
time is a property of the speed of light, which we know is a constant.=20
A photon is a snap-shot of history. In fact, everything you see about=20
you is history; even the image of the person sitting next to you is=20
delayed in time, and is past-time, history. When you see a Star on a=20
clear dark night what you are seeing is where that Star was millions of=20
years ago and a million light-years away.
Consider a thought experiment: light-posts are placed one-hundred feet=20
apart in all directions on a flat plane. The lights on top of these=20
posts are arranged so that they all flash 'simultaneously' (a difficult=20
thing to do.) If you were at the center of this array of lights, what=20
would you see when they flash? You would see a symmetrical ring of=20
light, with you at the center, traveling away from you at the speed of=20
light. In fact, anybody placed anywhere on that flat plane would see=20
the exact identical thing that you see: a symmetrical ring of light=20
traveling away from them at the speed of light, with them at the center=20
of the ring. What this says about light and time is that Time is a=20
local phenomena; time-zero exists only somewhere behind your eyes and=20
between your ears, and that is different for everyone. In fact, not=20
only does everybody have their own time-zero, but they have their own=20
rate of time also; this is what time dilation says. Time dilation (a=20
misnomer) is a property of time and matter-in-motion.
Getting back to equation (1), each photon has a value of time (the=20
distance it has traveled) which is constant and travels at the speed of=20
light. This is a vector. You could draw a spherically symmetric shell=20
at any distance, r, from the center of that Star, and every photon on=20
that shell would have the same value of time =96 a time which represents=20
the age and position of that Star at some time in the past.
Equation (1) says that photons are the messengers of time (time's=20
duration.) So, what is a photon? It is a constant, and it is=20
conserved. Its properties are described by the Dirac constant:

Where omega represents the frequency of the photon's energy. The source=20
for equation (2) is the energy distribution of a photon orbiting about a=20
fixed point in space. It describes a ring of energy traveling at the=20
speed of light and circling a fixed point in space. This defines a=20
particle! It is the definition of a particle of mass, m, where that=20
stationary mass is equal to the 'mass of the photon', and the frequency=20
(or, rate of time) at which it orbits that point in space. A particle=20
of mass is fixed in space because equation (2) has no translational=20
energy. The vector omega in equation (2) defines the axis of symmetry=20
for the photon distribution about it. It follows the right-hand rule.=20
A particle of mass, m, is conserved because the photon, and the photon's=20
orbit about that fixed point, is conserved. Photons and particles are=20
quanta, with quantum number, n, defined by their energy:

Where h is the Planck Constant. The frequency of a photon, or a=20
particle, is conserved, it is an integer, n, and it is a quantum number.=20
Particles and photons are complimentary 'properties' of time; they are=20
two sides of the same coin. Particles describe the rate of time, and a=20
photon time's duration.
Equations (1) and (2) are the two most fundamental equations in physics.=20
One more equation should be presented to complete these time equations:
(6)the vector Time Cross (the Curl of the vector Time) equals minus the=20
unit vector j divided by acceleration, a
where,
(7)the acceleration, a equals c-squared divided by r,
(8)minus the unit vector j equals minus the vector r divided by the=20
absolute value of the vector r.
Equation (6) describes the acceleration on the mass distribution of a=20
photon orbiting a stationary point in space, which defines a particle as=20
given in equation (2). This acceleration should be an expected result,=20
as most students should realize. The photon is a stable quantum which=20
does no work and has no work done on it.
All of these equations should be obvious to any physics student, or=20
physicist. Yet, we have never overcome the obstacle that people think=20
of time as a scalar, or even a pseudo-scalar. However, Time has even=20
more properties than I have shown here: Time also has dimension.=20
Particles and photons exist in different dimensions of time; also, when=20
photons and particles interact, their combination, for a short period of=20
time, exists in still another dimension of time, an imaginary dimension=20
of Time. The dimensionality of the vector Time is seen when we consider=20
the physical aspects of a body in motion; that is, the rate of time=20
decreases, from it stationary state, when it is in motion with an=20
apparent speed, v. This phenomena is what we call time dilation, but=20
time is multidimensional, and the dilation of a scalar value of time=20
does not actually occur. This is why time dilation is a misnomer, a=20
body's rate of time is what changes. I will discuss this in another=20
paper, if there is enough interest in this paper.

You're nuts! Time is fundamental. If you think not, then you should
consider that you may be brainwashed. Physicists should have an
imaginative and an OPEN mind, and should evaluate and question new
ideas. You should be ashamed of yourself for trying to censor this
paper. It has everything to do with Plasma Physics as it has with
everything else!

(A) There are newsgroups for discussing fundamentals. A discussion of
the nature of time on a plasma newsgroup, or an electronics newsgroup,
or a chemistry newsgroup, or a mechanical engineering newsgroup would be
off topic. The discussion groups for specific applications of physics
are not the best places for discussing fundamentals - you'd have be
holding conversations in all of them!
(B) There is no debate that time can be considered a vector - if you
study the more advanced texts on special and general relativity you'll
discover that time is _already_ assumed to be component of a
four-component vector; indeed, in general relativity time is treated as
a component of a tensor (which is, very roughly speaking, a
generalization of a vector quantity).

It is difficult to judge for certain when stuff is not in your immediate
area. I guess that is one of the reasons we try to stick to topic in
newsgroups. Jim's call that the "time" post was off topic was the correct
call to make. This post should have gone to alt.sci.physics.new-theories.
