Consider that the _Olympias_ (the reconstruction of an ancient Greek
trireme) cost about $1 million and the man behind the effort--John
Coates--needs about $1.5 million to set up port facilities and build a
"better" version correcting the mistakes in the first one. That $5
million would build at least *3* such ships--even though it wouldn't
even be noticed in the construction of the SSC. I guess it's all
relative . . .
