Daughter of scientist murdered in Norwich to run marathon in father’s honor

Ashford, Conn. � Kim Woodard, daughter of slain New Hampshire scientist
Eugene Mallove, has trained to run 26.2 miles in today�s Seattle Marathon in
honor of her father.
As part of this effort, she has raised more than $1,000 for the Families and
Friends of Violent Crime Victims organization on the Web at www.fnfvcv.org.
Police continue to investigate Mallove�s May 14, 2004, death. He was found
beaten to death at his childhood home on Salem Turnpike in Norwich.
Gov. M. Jodi Rell has authorized a $50,000 reward for information leading to
the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the
killing. The case remains unsolved.
