Alright, in Old Physics, they never used the Maxwell Equations as
axioms over all of physics. Instead, what they used was any
mathematical algebra that caught their fancy eye and then they called
it a fancy name of Standard Model. So in the Standard Model, there is
no violations of axioms because there are no axioms and that whatever
math algebra is fancied for that year or decade is what is favored and
taught as physics.
So in Old Physics, when a huge problem arises such as saying the
electrons move in perpetual motion (Feynman Lectures on Physics) and
even atoms move in perpetual motion, yet electrons and atoms have rest-
mass, while the photon moves in perpetual motion yet the photon has no
rest-mass. Well, to Old Physicists of Old Physics, that never seemed
to bother them, never seemed illogical to them. And the reason it
never bothered them is because they never really had much scientific
logic to see it as a problem in the first place.
In New Physics we have axioms that is the basis of all our physics
knowledge and endeavors. Those axioms are the (1) total facts of
chemistry (2) apply the 4 symmetrical Maxwell Equations (the ones with
magnetic monopoles).
So in New Physics we immediately see that we cannot have perpetual
motion of photons due to no rest mass while the electrons and atoms
have perpetual motion yet in which they have rest-mass.
So how does New Physics solve that vast contradiction and violation of
Maxwell Equations?
It solves it by recognizing that the electrons fill orbits of
Chemistry via the Hund's rule that they go in singularly into an orbit
and then they pair together in 2 electrons in each orbit before
filling the next higher subshell. In the process of pairing together
two electrons, one electron is converted to a positron and these two
particles become a gamma ray photon. So a paired orbital in the Hund's
rule is not 2 electrons, one up spin and one down spin, but rather is
a gamma ray photon of perpetual motion.
That is the only way in which the Maxwell Equations are left in tact,
not violated and not contradicted.
Now, let me ask a question about our observations of the Universe at
large. How many times in a day does anyone see or experience an atom
in which it exists in a stable condition with one isolated singular
electron in a orbit or subshell? The answer is never. If you look at
the Periodic Table of Elements is there any element that has no
chemical bonding and which has a last electron that is singular? The
answer is no. In fact, only helium, perhaps neon, are the only
elements that exist singular atoms without ever a chemical bonding and
where its last electrons are paired in a suborbital. Every element in
the table cannot exist singularly as atoms with its last electron
singular.
Now if all of this is true, then electrons pairing to form gamma
photons should allow us to predict the rest mass of subatomic
particles. We should be able to predict that the electron is 0.5 MeV
while the proton is 938 MeV
Now if you look in Wikipedia under "orders of magnitude (length)" you
find the gamma photon scale starts about 1 pm wavelength and that is
the energy of gamma ray of 1 pm is 1 MeV or the addition of a electron
+ positron to form a 1 MeV gamma ray. Now the size of length of a
proton is 10^-15 or 10^3 smaller than the 1pm gamma ray wavelength.
And the energy of a proton is 10^3 larger than the electron or
electron + positron.
Now the wavelength is a continuum of energies, and in Physics what we
are discovering about particle physics is that they come in a
continuum of energies. Pick any number of MeV between 0.5 and 938 and
you can find a particle with that MeV. Now if you picked 105 MeV I
could hand you a muon, and a muon is nothing more than a 105 MeV gamma
ray photon which is broken down into energetic electrons.
Now in my next post, I am going to discuss what was the job of the
photon in Old Physics, for its job seemed very vague, very nebulous
and very much suspect as not even having a job, a rationale for
existence in the Maxwell Equations. Faraday a long time ago in the
1830s said the photon was a disturbance in the EM field. Now that
seems very odd to say that the only job we know of for the photon is
to be a disturbance of the Maxwell Equations electric field. We expect
the existence of one of the 4 and only 4 particles of physics to be
more than just a disturbance of the other 3 particles of physics. So
here, when we consider that the electron pairs in suborbitals and
transforms into a gamma ray photon, we have a spectacular job for the
photon in that the photon converts rest mass into energy and converts
electric charge of positive and negative into 0 neutral charge.
