The Lorentz force equation was only meant to propel and guide charged particles in free motion, and has been used by engineers since its confirmation in 1904 to successfully guide electrons on utterly precise trajectories to precise locations on CRT tube screens and charged particle in high energy accelerators.

Our technology basis is wrong.
By what do you watch a particle?
How do you know where light

Yet the technology works fine in spite of your ignorance.

A lot of different ways, but you haven't the education to understand any
of them.
