I need to find what the following laser power supply requires for input
power and the proper wiring.

Thanks!!!

Laser Drive Inc. Gibsonia PA

Model #314SLFBRH2
SER# 11-26-90
INPUT 105 S20 242 Rev A

There are 4 wires coming out of the potted unit, a Yellow, a Green and 2
White wires

This unit is connected to a Melles Griot laser Medel 05 LHR 551

Thank you very much,
Vance Burnham

I have a Laser Drive model 4009479 HeNe power supply that runs on 115/230 VAC.

You should probably get confirmation of this but for 115 VAC operation on
mine, the whites are tied together as one side of the line (Neutral) and the
yellow is the other (Hot).

See the sites below for more information on laser power supplies.

Extensive practical information for the hobbyist and experimenter on laser
diodes and helium neon lasers is available at the following sites (>300 KB
ASCII file - versions at these two sites may differ slightly):

* http://www.misty.com/~don/laserdon.html
* http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaveral/Lab/3931/

Includes characteristics, drive considerations, electronic design with
many circuit diagrams and complete power supply schematics.
