Hi,
I have tried to find complex refractive index of such common material as
Fe2O3 (iron oxide)
in the literature and failed! I'd be thankful if anybody could give a
hint.
The wavelength range is between 300 and 1200 nm.

Try R. Guillamet, M. Lenglet, and F. Adam "Reflectance Spectroscopy of
oxide films of \alpha-Cr2O3 and \alpha-Fe2O3 on iron" in Solid State
Comm. Vol. 81 p.633 (1992).

I also have a figure from a paper by T. Chen and B. D. Cahan that gives
the complex dielectric function of sintered Fe2O3 powder pellets btween
0.26 and 0.78 microns. Sorry I don't have the complete citation. Hop
this helps. Please let me know if you turn up anything else.

Andrey,

We manufacture glass plates with an Iron Oxide coating, but I do not
have any information about the refractive index. However, if you e-mail
me your snail-mail address I will gladly mail you a small plate for
testing.

Best regards,
