Hey,

I am looking for more UV 'specialist' equipment/materials. I need to find
some window material that will allow UV and visible wavelengths through.
However the material has to be US Food & Drug Administration (FDA) approved.

Thoughts and supplier websites would be gladly accepted.

What kind of UV are you talking about? Perhaps the wavelength range that
should be tramsmitted is good to know before answering the question.
Rob.

Fused silica.

That you will have to find out yourself.

Schott and Heraeus are making such glasses, but you can buy them
from a lot of companies (mostly the usual suspects in optics).

Sorry Rob,

You are right, more information might be a more useful! So, I am
particularly interested in the range 300-400nm, and I have to be able to get
the material in quite large pieces, say 0.5 x 0.4 m.

Any suggestions?

Chris
