German Army Division numbers and size in WWII.

According to "German Campaign in Poland 1939" published by Dept of the Army as
DA Pamphlet 20-255 dated April 1956. German army total 35 activity infantry
divisions (17,875 mem in 3 infantry regt of 3 battalions) and 4 motorized
infantry divsions (16475 men), and 3 mountain divisions (17,000 men except in
1st had 24,000 men) and 5 heavy panzer divisions (12,000 men and 300 tanks) and
4 light panzer divisions (11,000 men). There were 51 reserve divisions all
infantry.
