Colin Powell:
- Sec of State (under GW Bush)
- Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff (Bush and Clinton)
- National Security Advisor (87-89)
- forever remembered for disgracefully holding up that vial at the U.N. (for Bush)

...endorsed President Obama
http://www.usatoday.com/story/theoval/2012/10/25/obama-colin-powell-endorsement/1656491/

"Powell said the economy is improving and Obama got the United States
out of war in Iraq and is starting to get the United States out of
Afghanistan. "I signed on for a long patrol with President Obama, and
I don't think this is the time to make such a sudden change," he said.
I think we ought to keep on the track we are on."

hth,
;-)

I'm just recalling, that back a few years ago,
before this poster was claiming the handle of Dr. Quin, PhD,
and back before he claimed the handle of Dr. West, PhD,
and even before he claimed the handle of Dr. Pest, PhD, , ,
probably back when he was using the handle of "i2p6 west"
he considered Collin Powell a lying incompetent.
Perhaps, he even called him a "Trained House Negro".

Hmmm, so, are we now, to trust him?

I once considered Colin Powell prime presidential material. By the end
of his years as Bush's lapdog, I had lost all respect for the man.

I will never forget his WMD "Sales" talk to the United Nations:

http://articles.cnn.com/2005-08-19/world/powell.un_1_colin-powell-lawrence-wilkerson-wmd-intelligence?_s=PM:WORLD

You could see by the look on his face that he didn't believe what he was
saying, yet he stood in front of the entire world and mouthed words he
knew to be untrue (or at least highly unlikely).

And that's not the only incident, just the most memorable one.

So while it may gain a few votes for Obama, I find myself unthrilled by
Powell's endorsement. He deserves to rot in obscurity.

Yes. There are some wrongs that just cannot be undone or even
forgiven.

Too bad so many others from the administration or leading cheer
leaders from that time are still frequent guests on the various
talking head shows and networks.

Colin Powell is very flexible. He even endorsed the existence of
Iraqs Weapons of Mass Destruction. One day he is Republican the next
Democrat.

Mind you he might have made a decent president compared to the race
relations careerist who has the distinction of making things worse

Yes, but the difference is that he knew they were damn lies yet he
repeated them to the whole world. You could tell by the sour look on
his face that he knew. The end result of his sales pitch was that too
damn many people died, and our national debt mushroomed.

The evidence seems to show that he was sold a line of bull
and passed it on.

Certainly his apologia for American foreign policy neither
drove nor affected it.

Romney or Obama, they are both war mongers. Obama sent Tomahawk
missiles and commandos to Libya to help rebels who later killed his US
Ambassador.

Just make sure that the Muslim extremists leave office after losing the
coming election and that they have not put something too silly in the
new Egyptian Constitution.

At least Obama doesn't beleive that Jesus is going to rule from
Missouri for a 1,000 years as Romney does.

People are seriously considering voting for a high church official of
the Mormon church into the presidency?

Really?

Would those same people vote for a Catholic Bishop?

The short answer is yes and they are about to do so, in great numbers, on
Tuesday.

Actually they sodimised him, then stabbed him so that he would die
lowly. They did the same to Quadaffi. Hillary Clinton joked about
Qadaffis brutal execution, tacitly approving such brutalities.

Quadaffi was knifed in the anus as well, i assume the ambassador as
well.

The dhimi in chief tend

We're talking about a man who died of smoke inhalation in a 'safe
room'.

Bill Schlomo is simply a shameless liar, he operates on the principal
that most folks won't check his lies.
