Which means anyone shooting a pistol at any target is at an illegal gun
range.

Yet, we are suppose to believe that NO ONE has EVER use a pistol to fire at
a target in the UK, since doing so was made illegal.

Sorry, but you've made to many false assertions for anyone to blindly accept
another blanket assertion from you.

That's not what the police say, but hey since when do your assertions have
anything to do with reality?

Anyway, since it seems that you are simply here to lie to me, there is no
point in continueing to read this message. Try again when you can at least
show some effort to try to stick to the truth.

No.

The police and army have ranges.

You're welcome to try and gain access and practice pistol shooting.

I accept the correction and further accept your admission you were once
again wrong in your assertions. At least you've admitted it this time, so
that's a point in your favor.

Sophistry.

Do you usually argue like a spoiled child?

You know what I mean, scoring silly points by taking comments out of

Nope, simple observation of your statements.

You said "and the legal ones no longer shoot pistols" followed by "The

police and army have ranges"

Since the police and military both shoot pistols at their ranges, your first
statement is proven to be false by your second statement.

It's still sophistry.

You claim that is isn't hard to get access to a range and that there are
illegal ranges are the deranged maundering of a diseased mind.

Apparently for willie-boi any rational argument proving he's been caught in
a lie is "sophistry"
Must be the "England" version of the meaning of that word
http://m-w.com/dictionary/sophistry defines it as:
1 : subtly deceptive reasoning or argumentation
There is NOTHING either subtle or depeptive in the argument that Scout
presented
On the other hand YOUR orignial claim does qualify

You said, the legal ranges don't allow pistols. Then you pointed out legal
ranges that do allow pistols.

How is pointing out that you are contradicting yourself a matter of
sophistry?

What's the matter?

You don't like your lying hypocracy pointed out to you?

Then maybe you should stop lying and being a hypocrite.

claim that no illegal gun is ever shot at a target.....

Sleep well tonight,

Let's see if I have this healthcare thingy right. Congress is to pass
a plan written by a committee whose head has said he doesn't understand
it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it, signed by a president who
hasn't read it, with funding administered by a Treasury chief who didn't
pay his taxes because he didn't understand TurboTax, overseen by an obese
Surgeon General and financed by a country that's nearly broke.
What could possibly go wrong?

Now a housing development, but at that time the Yorkshire 'county'

I am allowed firearms, I even have a license.

So far you have not shown that you have ever fired a shot, or even
claimed to have done so.

So, what do you shoot, and where?

Because the impression you give is of a child of twelve.

ranges. just miles from where I live, here in NJ.

Irrelevent. You say that no legal ranges allowed pistols. Period.

You lied.

Because police ranges DO.

That they aren't open to the public was not a condition of your claim.

several = one.

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%22Knostrop%20range%22

Further if you go to that one link and follow it to this range.....seems to
still be there. I thought you told us it was now a housing development?

However, let's consider for a second that the google map shown is out of
date.

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=n53.78039+w1.50349&sll=53.780386,-1.503489&sspn=0.000179,0.000428&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Knowsthorpe+Way,+Leeds+LS9+0,+United+Kingdom&t=h&ll=53.779384,-1.504006&spn=0.00142,0.003428&z=18

I really don't think you would put a housing development in the area of
heavy industry, and you really won't want to put it between a
scrap-yard/recycling center, and a major sewage treatment plant.

Now be honest here, you really didn't ever shoot there did you? You just
looked up a range, got the mistaken idea it was converted to housing and ran
with it thinking no one would ever actually check up, and now you have been
caught in what appears to be yet another lie.

This point has been made repeatedly to him and his mates.

I live in the most rural county in England.

It's almost impossible to get out of sight of a dwelling.

City based thugs looking for somewhere for some quiet target practise
are going to end up wandering about in places where they'll get noticed,
and they very rarely do.

There are schemes like Rural Watch and Farm Watch that keep a look out
for people who don't belong...

Turn up in a rural area in the UK that's off the tourist track and
you'll get noticed.

Okay, then, 3 million foot-wide tunnels should not bring any notice.
