If all of the GOOD people carry guns, then all the CRIMINALS will be

Bill Smith

>"If everyone carrys a gun, then nobody will use a gun."
Straw man argument. No one ever said that.
The NRA people rightly point out that in states where carry is
allowed, crime has often dropped. In one county in Florida that made
it mandatory to have a firearms in the home unless it was against
religious or personal beliefs, murders were ZERO that year and
robberies fell to near-nothing.
But don't let the facts get in your way. You don't like people
owning guns because you wouldn't trust yourself with one, isn't that
true? Fine. Just don't expect others to give them up because you're
not to be trusted.
Tombstone and Dogde were places where to people in charge tried to DISARM
those they didn't approve of..
You would be more creduble if you had a glimmer about what you were talking
about .
The idiot using the nym " "Dr. Vincent Quin, Ph.D."
Which was why the so-called "Wild West" was far safer than the East Coast
during the same period of time.
Actually, that town is in Georgia, unless you're referencing a different
community.

What about Afghanistan?
Everyone has a gun there and it isn't what you'd call peaceful...

Medina Sidonia how many Spanish sword and buckler men he could beat

If everyone claims to be a "DR." then all those are idiotic PH.Ds!

Afghanistan has unequivocally proven that it doesn't need guns in order to
kill.

Once again...
GUNS don't kill people...
PEOPLE kill people!
What's next? Outlawing the possession of a rock?
**You'd think. Back here in the real world, there a few flaws in your

1) "Good" people sometimes go bad.

Another lie...
But...
An armed society should be a polite and crime free and peaceful society.
Are you saying that the problems in any society are cultural?
How Socialist of you...
Agreed. Which is easier of some of the actual good people have the
needed means to do so.

Agreed.
The Swiss require most citizens to own guns for instance. Israel is
kind of open to private carrying of arms too.
You are unable to "logically extend" even a finger
So doing so for a concept is way beyond your ken
Actually MULTIPLE lies
But who am I to quibble...
Feel free to provide PROOF that "everyone has a gun in Afghanistan"
Take as many screens as you need
(This is scuttle time, you cockroach)
And let's not forget the State of Vermont, which has ALWAYS protected the
right of the people to carry openly or concealed just about anywhere in the
State.
And lo and behold, Vermont has one of the lowest crime rates in all the
States of the Union
It should be "People with GUNS Kill people"
That statement directly implies that ALL people with guns kill people.
Horribly inaccurate statement.
Want proof?
I've been carrying a gun for YEARS, (both professionally and on personal
time) and have yet to "kill" anyone.....
Self-defense or otherwise.

Shhh. Do not give them the idea.
Andrew Swallow
Screw it. Nothing surprises me anymore.
I can see it now....
"Convicted drug dealer arrested for felon in possession of a rock."
Vermont's low crime rate has nothing to do with people being allowed to
carry guns, the fact is 99% of them don't carry.
Vermont is the most rural state and it has almost no urban enviroment that
has more to do with things there.
and for the Fla county cited, what were the crime stats previously?
Really? So those 20,000 laws don't actually exist?
I will call you a liar on this Trevor, because there are numerious
impediments.
And on the flip side of THAT coin, you also have to admit that the low crime
rate of the UK has nothing to do with being not being allowed to carry guns,
much less owning them.
Can't have it both ways.
> Vermont is the most rural state and it has almost no urban enviroment that

So what exactly is it about an urban enviroment which you think makes it
impossible to carry guns safely?

Except that the UK has an extremely high crime rate, much higher than the US
for all categories except for murder.

Then you might get to shoot someone.
And firearms crime, and rape...
Well there's your problem, you are ignorant enough to imagine that Dodge And
Tombstone are representative of the West at that time
Your ignorance and inability to make rational comparisons must be the
result of a "liberal edunucation" or something like that.
Probably a NERF gun
The real issue, is why SHOULD I provide any such proof
I didn't make a claim that they did
I just metionned that Vermont has NO RESTRICTIONS
Idiots like ray can't seem to think their way from A to B without falling
into stupidity.
And naturally you have EVIDENCE that people are ACTUALLY CARRYING those AKs
?
Don't thnk so
Not to mention the silliness of the notion that just because there is a law

b) it also proves to be some magical talisman against criminals like the

Fifty states with an average of 400 towns each, with a ordinance

Yes
We have noted your lack of content whenever you try to redirect
I'm surprised that you finally noticed
Just shows that there is always hope, even for losers
It's always funny to read the hidden hoplophobe come to the surface
And it's usually in a statemetn where they suggest some other party go
kill someone, anyone.
I would have said all those soldiers coming home with 7.62 mm holes in
them is proof that enough people there have them to make being a soldier
from a foreign country reasonably hazardous.
In a society where blood feuds are common and can last up to 300 years a
prudent man carries a gun.
I thought, and I have a first edition of the book where the term occurs
for the first time, that this was an irrational fear of guns.
As I keep guns in the house and both my wife and I shoot this is a touch
unlikely.
>Feel free to provide PROOF that everybody carries guns in Vermont.

Feel free to prove it is legal to ride a bicycle in your jurisdiction.
Next, provide proof that everyone rides one. Duh.
Casady
So now you're claiming that it's the law-abiding citizens who are shooting
our soldiers and NOT the Taliban ?
Or are you trying to conflate the two groups to make your (dishonest) point

I can't tell the difference between them, and neither can anyone else

Also, your argument doesn't consider cultural differences, which are more of
the reason UK and Japan "gun crime" is lower than that of the US.
UK and Japanese people have been conditioned over centuries to not have

Mexico has very strict gun control, yet is awash in gun crime.
Switzerland is "awash in guns",yet has low gun crime.

Quite the contrary. Most normal people, when carrying, realize the

You noticed that, too. Amazing phenomenon, eh?
Is that why you keep guns? To shoot someone, anyone? Planning a trip abroad?
Is that why you own a gun Mr. Black?
A desire to go shoot someone?
Interesting how you constantly show attitudes unlike any firearms instructor
I ever met.
please point out where he made the claim that they do.

Billy Black lies.
It's easier to blame some inanimate object than to take responsibility
for ones actions..
Don't play stupid.

Are you stupid, insane, or both? Or just one of those knuckle-dragging
semi-literate gun cult bigots?

So what? I've worked for what I have. If you want to give the
government your EXCESS MONEY to make the lives of the po' better, do
so. Just quit trying to make yourself feel better by giving someone
else MY MONEY.

I read about one in the early '90s that was in Florida, but
thanks for letting me know there was another one with positive results
too. Of course, to the gun grabbers, no result is positive if it isn't
one they're seeking.
There's nothing more morbid than people who get up and do a
tap dance whenever there's a mass shooting, and start making plans of
how they'll spin to the media that it's all the fault of what they
don't like. They're parasites.

This was back in the early '90s. I can find out if it's
important to you. All I remember is that after that law went through,
they had no murders the next year, and a drastically reduced number of
break ins.
Gun control advocates don't care about that. They want what
makes them feel unsafe banned, and it isn't because they care about
other people.
Your ignorance, acknowledged.
I accept your admission you are ignorant of attitudes in the US.
> It's a culture of "me first and screw you."
Where as you would prefer "screw you, I don't like it"?
Then you shouldn't do so.
