Really ?

That would indicate a level of physical involvement way beyond the simple

They could not move its convention given the limited time between the

Another dunbass canucky that has "no" clue what he is
talking about.
So, Jeffery, do you always enjoy spreading lies? There was
NO Shriners type parade or festive event. Quite the
contrary. The annual meeting at Denver had been planned
several years in advance. Thousands of NRA members had
purchased tickets and arranged for transportation and
lodging.
The NRA is incorporated in New York and the state requires
that the NRA have an annual business meeting with board
members and others. REQUIRED, not suggested. The usual
annual meeting includes demonstrations and displays of new
products and entertainment (comedians, singers,
commentators). Everything but the actual business meeting
and serious, substantive speeches were canceled. There was
no parade, no festive events. Michael Moore lies, and by
extention, so do you.

Read it already. Thousands cary everyday, Without any issues. These are
a series of random criminal acts and accidents that could have still
been done by other means or tools. Sorry your off base. Carry a firearm
alot, & not a goofball by any means. I Could list just as many stories
of guns saving lives by the law abiding.
Kid pulls trigger on gun and dies. Kid plays with fire and burns house
and dies. Kid falls in swimming pool and can't swim and dies. So the
result is the same. None is any worse & is replaceable as a cause of death.
UH,Not even close....... The NRA's National Yearly convention was in
Denver a few weeks after the events in Columbine. Not a parade nor in
anyway mocking the tragic event. The NRA has a Mebership of millions and
represent a wide crossection of America's best & brightest. They have
done more for the community in education, suproting wildlife, &
suporting law enforcement than any other group half it's size since 1871.
I'm commenting on a fucking film idiot !
A film that won many awards, I might add.
If the film is a lie, then sue him and prove your point. Failing to do that
then address what Michael Moore and Bowling for Columbine was refering to.
Except for the proliferation of _SO_ MANY_ GUNS_ and _SO_EASY_TO_GET_. Not
the same at all!
....and Timothy McVeigh beat that record all to hell with a little gasoline
and fertilizer. And your point is ?
Yeah, the fucking film idiot is Michael Moore (punctuation,
like words, has meaning, Jeffy).
> A film that won many awards, I might add.
BFD. The Academy voted politics, not facts. The most of
the awards were for documentaries and "Bowling for
Columbine" was not a documentary, it was propaganda.
> If the film is a lie, then sue him and prove your point.
I have no grounds to sue him. Like my lawyer brother-in-law
once told me, "You can sue for anything, but winning and
collecting are entirely different."
> Failing to do that then address what Michael Moore and
> Bowling for Columbine was refering to.
I saw the film on a cable outlet, in its entirety, with only
advertisement interruptions. The film was a clever editing
job attacking America in general and the Second Amendment,
the NRA, and Charlton Heston specifically. Your hero,
Michael Moore, is a fat slob with feet of clay. A great
film editor, but still a fat, lying slob, or deleting the l,
SOB.
A bunch of misinformation and outright lies to gull the ignorati such as
you.
And clearly Moore succeeded in your case
More kids drown in buckets and bathtubs than are shot
About 5 times more
And it wouldn't happen "Except for the proliferation of _SO_ MANY_ BUCKETS_
and _BATHTUBS_SO_EASY_TO_GET_. Not the same at all! "
Now do you see how stupid and ignorant you are ?
Something that you still keep missing
Why is that ?
Just because one bunch of ignorati believe the lies and misinformation in
the film does NOT make it true for all that
And just because same bunch of ignorati decide to award it a questionable
"prize" changes nothing either
The lies and disinformation in "Bowling for Columbine" have been proven a
long time ago

I could, but why should I read something about Michael Moore, written by the

Moore lies, often subtly, but he lies. Sue him? It cannot
be done by me or any of the other posters here because we
would have no standing in court. The NRA cannot because it
is, by nature of being incorporated, an artificial person
and a public person at that. Unless it can prove slander or
liable causing serious harm, it cannot sue. That's the
reason public figures like politicians, movie stars, sports
figures, rappers and the like cannot sue every time some
tells a lie or half-truth about them. Carol Burnett was one
of the few public figures to successfully sue a tabloid that
said that she was an alcoholic. It was an out and out lie
and especially harmful to Burnett because her mother was an
alcoholic and Burnett was very much offended. And she had
damned good lawyers.

Because you might (oh no) "learn" something, but go ahead and
remain stupid. It wasnt written by people he "attacks"
Because Moore needs to resort to lies and half-truths and innuendo to attack
them
Whereas the people who respond to the attack don't have a need to do
that
A fool only looks at one side of an argument
The intelligent person looks at both BEFORE making a decision
You would first have to open your eyes to EVEN HAVE ANY chance of that
statement being close to the truth
> Who the fuck is talking about bathtubs and buckets?

Too bad that even the obvious has trouble penetrating your skull
> Are bathtubs and buckets designed to fire a projectile to kill something ?
1) Indeed guns are designed to fire a projectile, BUT the claim that "guns
are designed to fire a projectile to kill something" is a BLATANT LIE
Want proof, just look at all the guns used in BOTH the Summer and
Winter Olympics
How many of them were designed to "kill something" ?
NOT A SINGLE ONE
2) And nonetheless, even though buckets and bathtubs were NOT designed to
fire a projectile, they STILL cause 5 times more children's deaths than
guns.
> Ya fuckin' moron.
That's a perfectly good signature in your case.
But why do you insist on proving it EVERY TIME you post ?
What makes you imagine that the NRA would have ANY interest to "have his

All they need to demonstrate is that MM is a bald-faced liar
Something that NOT ONLY the NRA has done, but other groups NOT affiliated to
the NRA have ALSO done.

And for what exactly ?
And by the way, his lies, just like yours have done me no REAL harm.

People do it regularly in Virginia and other states such as North Carolina.
Concealed Carry permit holders in Virginia MUST either disarm or
reveal their firearm when entering restaraunts (and certain other locations)
which serve alcohol so this is common as well.
In the (few) cases where police have over reacted to Open Carry
recently in VA, they almost always end up with a political stink,
rebukes from the City Council, (re)training of police officers, or
similar problems.
Open Carry states include: VA, NC, KY, VT, NV, ID, WY,
MT, SD, AK, and some others with varying rules.

I have never seen a gun shop into which they would allow one to carry
a loaded gun. I always thought it ironic that CostCo would take so
much flak for their stance prohibiting carry when virtually all gun
stores are "no carry" zones.
Another point is that you may not carry in any location "where
government business is transacted". If it's such a grand idea, then
you should be allowed to carry in our lawmakers' offices, but they
exepmt themselves right up front.
You own gun nut website says the same thing -- in many more words. Now go
play asshole somewhere else. It idiots like the gun nuts here that are
the reason " No one anywhere gets to walk around with a weapon in public

Arizona is also open carry.

You are in the wrong area. Most of the gun shops here allow open carry
or concealed of loaded firearms within their stores. It is just that it
must remain holstered.
LOL
Then you probably have not been to a lot of gun shops
I have yet to see a gun shop where I was not allowed to carry.
At one shop, I was even asked if I would mind letting them see what I was
carrying (CZ 100 in 40 S&W), which meant drawing and unloading the firearm
Before I did so I asked them if they were sure.
Their response was, "You do it right, and we'll have no problems..."

Thoughts based on ignorance are not worth much
Which pretty well explains why your conclusion is clueless

At least they try
You will be seeing a lot of those "exceptions" being removed after the
Parker decision, since they will be found to be unconstitutional.
And if some agencies balk, you can expect to see lawsuits pop up to
challenge such restrictions

Yes... it's always, "Wow! That's a neat gun. May I see it, please?"
Of course, had you refused, you would have been told to leave the
property. Few retailers actually have a sign posted; however, if a
person with a weapon comes to their attention, then that person will
be asked to remove the weapon immediately. The policy is usually in
the "employee handbook", so an employee with a gun would be
trespassing, customers only if they refuse to leave when told.
If you don't believe me, find the manager of any retail store, tell
him or her that you have a gun, and see how long they let you stay.

I doubt it; however, I do not know where "here" is, so I'm not
claiming you're untruthful. I think that you'll probably be picked up
by a sales person who will ask if he can examine the gun, generally
with: "Is that a 1911 .45? Wow! May I see it? (I've never actually
seen one of those before!)" That's what one said to me, anyway. The
shop was in Stephenville, MT. Maybe the 1911 .45 wasn't used that far
north, I don't know.

Most of them will simply nod to you and go on about their business as you
do.

I am in southern Arizona. Most shops here have no problems with you
carrying a loaded firearm in their stores. All of their employees also
do. 1911's are all over the country. I personally carry a revolver but
there are tons of 1911s in the area.

We don't get that. Apparently folks around here are so used to seeing
guns that they don't really care what you carry unless you are in a
conversation with one of the employees and the subject comes up.
> Few retailers actually have a sign posted;
That's true. Of course, some of those signs say "No Gun Allowed" and some
of those signs say "Leave it Holstered".
however, if a

Not here in southern Arizona unless the property is posted "No Guns
Allowed" and I don't shop in those.

I carry openly in many of the stores around here including WalMart when I
go there from time to time.
What is really funny is the majority of Cops I know personally, or
have even talked to on the matter have absolutely no problem at all
with legally licensed firearms carriers. They actually see them as
"Force" multipliers.
After all in the U.S. Law Enforcement (as opposed to Police/Cops) will
readily admit there isn't much they can do to protect the average
citizen, just clean-up the mess after it occurs. More or less they
are just Societal Garbagemen.
--
Absolutely, regular non-political appointed "Street" Cops see properly
trained & licensed citizens as Force Multipliers. Your average street
cop is more then aware that they cannot be everywhere at once,
especially when they are so often assigned revenue generating duties
(Speed Traps) over neighborhood patrols.
Simply look at the average response times for most departments. You
might as well call the undertaker given the amount of time it will
take most departments to come clean-up the mess as opposed to the
rescue.

Come up with "any" research that says other then the "Political
Appointee" Cops, that Law Enforcement is anti-RKBA. If you have
trouble using Google I'm quite sure a PhD could read up on how to use
it.

As long as you are properly trained & licensed. However, you are the
one constantly nattering on about carrying a shotgun as a concealed
weapon -- something extremely difficult to do.
