So if they "can be knocked up in a couple of hours in your shed" why
are they being smuggled?

You're now merely denying facts to keep a troll going, Willie.
Pathetic, really.

As a general rule the people doing the smuggling aren't capable of
making their own.

"Any number under six"

The answer given by Englishman Richard Peeke when asked by the Duke of
Medina Sidonia how many Spanish sword and buckler men he could beat
single handed with a quarterstaff.

As a more general rule, the people doing smuggling are doing it for the
money.

I know it's difficult for you, Willie, but *THINK*.

If they are so easily made locally, why would the market support
smuggling?

Why should they need to do so?

They get them from the people that have the guns, and take them to were
there are people willing to buy them.

It's like asking a drug smuggler if he knows how to cook up crack, or mix up
a batch of meth. It's not his job, he's simply a transporter not a
fabricator.

Sheese, Will, thought you were smarter than this......on second thought, no
actually I didn't.
