A small group of us are forming a new glaucoma discussion board on the web
called the Glaucoma and Ocular Hypertension Patient Advocacy Center (GLOHPAC).
This forum is to be totally independent, patient driven, but with doctors and
researchers most welcome, and not tied to any particular institution. No
registration is required, but registered users will get a unique Username and
Password that will give them the ability to edit their posts online even
_after_ they have appeared on the board.
Another great advantage of the GLOHPAC board is that discussions can be
preserved over a long period of time, so that participants can make detailed
contributions that can be archived, retrieved, and further developed. We expect
messages to last for several months or perhaps even indefinitely.
The GLOHPAC home page also contains a handy collection of glaucoma-related
links.
Sound interesting?
The URL is:
(That's easy.)
This forum, which is open to _everyone_, is in no way meant to replace or
compete with any existing forums, which all have their respective places in the
grand scheme of things.
Hope to see you there! (Oh by the way, I'm the admin!)
Regards,
Hank
