Turning suddenly can cause me to feel unsteady. Does anyone else have
anything similar or and suggestions. Can balance problems be caused from the
eyes.
Thank You
Or it could be simply from exposure, not closing your lids at night.
It's really something to diagnose in the doctor's office, not the internet.
The dizzy thing is more likely your ears than your eyes. Yes, both are involved
in making you feel "steady" but it's your inner ear that gives you "balance", or
throws you off balance. Different doctors, different newsgroup. You didn't give
any information that would suggest a relationship between the two problems. When
you close your eyes and turn quickly, do you still get dizzy?

The visual system is very important part fo the balance system. If it gets
affected, you can definately lose your balance. The other inputs come form
your ears, your neck, and your legs, arms, ankles, and feet. also
inadequate blood flow to the brain causes imbalance. The symptoms you
described suggest some sort of autonomic dysfunction. That may be a path
you can look at.
Thanks,
Mike
