Aesthetic Options for Thick Lenses

I make custom eyeglass frames (I'm a jeweller) and generally don't
dealwith the lenses apart from ensuring my eyewire devices work
wellcontaining them. Now I have a customer who asks if there are ways
to deal with his (quite)thick prescription L -6.5 add +2 R -5.25 add
+2.I will suggest: smaller eyeshape polished edges higher index
lens material Are there other ways?Regarding the last point, are there
better hi index lens options? I ask because I heard that some brand
called "Ultra-thin"('poly-silicon'?) is not well thought of. 'Causing
headaches'. What's y'all thinking on these ways to deal with thickish
