neurologist, pain clinic & phantom pain?

I went to see my urologist today. He said that he is out of ideas. The
pain is becoming too much for me to function in everyday activities.
Background:

Vasectomy, pain, vasectomy-reversal, right testicle removed. Now I have
pain in my left testicle AND on my right side. It feels just like it did
before my right testicle was removed.

My doctor is going to refer me to a neurologist and a pain clinic tomorrow.
Something to hope for. Hope is essential.
