Xander,

Have you ever consulted an allergist about your problems? It may be that
prostatitis is causing the food allergy/intolerance problems or it could be that
food allergy/intolerance is presenting or promoting prostatitis.

I had some severe food intolerance problems a few years back (with that old
favourite, gluten) and it caused all sorts of complications before I finally
realized what the problem was and went on an exclusion diet.

Good luck,

Craig

An interesting thought. But I have had pathogenic bacteria cultured from
my EPS and I do not believe allergies will make that happen. I think many
prostatitis patients would also culture positively for bacteria if only
proper drainage and lab work were done. Not all. I am convinced that
some people have complications and causes BEYOND bacterial infection, and
in a few cases, not involving bacterial infection. The reason we endlessly
debate these things is that there has been too little rigorous scientific
research done.
