While I was contemplating having a vasectomy I asked my doctor, "What
happens to the sperm" since it can't exit in the usual manner. He told me
it was simply "reabsorbed" by the body.
Ever since the vasectomy I have had pain off and on. It was diagnosed as
epididymitis/orchitis. After a long (and ineffective) treatment of
antibiotics, urinalysis and blood work it was diagnosed as CONGESTIVE
epididymitis. A lot of my friends have had vasectomies and none of them
have had any problems. On the other hand, that was only the beginning of
my troubles.
Comments welcome. Have you had a similar experience with post-vasectomy pain?

Let's do "if...then" reasoning here. (BTW I am not a Doctor)
If you have an infection....then what kind of bacteria are infecting your
urinary/reproductive tract?
If you have had blood and urine tests....is it true that there are no
other tests which might isolate your infectious agents?
If you had bacteriological cultures of your EPS (the fluid that can be
pushed out of your prostate gland), and it were kept in incubation 7 days
and all organisms were reported (not the usual 24-hour culture)...might
this reveal your bacteria?
If cultures of your bacteria were established...wouldn't it be interesting
to do antibiotic sensitivity testing to see if your bacteria are resistant
to the antibiotics you have been taking? This is accomplished by putting
small (1mm) disks of antibiotic-soaked paper on the culture plates, and
seeing if bacteria grow right up to the disk. If they do, taking that
antibiotic won't cure your infection.
If bacteria were trapped in your prostate gland's tiny sacks (call acini)
forming a reservoir for reinfection...wouldn't drainage of the prostate
gland during antibiotic therapy be a logical thing to do?
If you did all these things, do you think you would still have an
infection? Perhaps. But you'd have a better chance of getting rid of
your infection than the methods you have tried. See
