What is it about weightlifting that causes testicular pain?
No, I do not have a hernia.
The pain usually comes 24 or 48 hours after the workout.
It used to be a mild pain and would subside after a day or two.
Now it is an intense pain and will not subside even though I have quit
working out.

Any answers? Any guesses?

This non-doctor looked at your message and thought about it for a while.
Then the sentence that I quote above came to the fore. Let me tell a
story. Once, when I was about to have an intestinal ailment but did not
yet have symptoms, I went to a pizza restaurant. While eating pizza, I
became violently ill, and was sick for several days and lost about 10
pounds from constant ...you know. So for about a year I couldn't eat
pizza because of the asssociation. The pizza didn't make me sick. It
just happened at the same time. It was a cooincidence. If you have an
infection, it was not caused by weightlifting. Weightlifting may have
helped you notice the symtoms the first time or may just be a
cooincidence.
