Hi to all! I would like to have your opinion about my situation and my
purpose.
I'm 30 years old and from one month and a week to now I'm taking antibiotics
(first Ciproxin 500, then Bactrim) to cure a prostatitis. This one was
diagnosed to me - after I find blood in my urin and sperm - with a
trans-rectal ecography, which evidenced a dimension a little bit smaller
than
normal, periuretral macrocalcifications and a pretty big vascularisation. My
actual symptoms are little pain during urination and ejaculation, a
sensation of heat in the perianal zone, a reduced flow of urine and sperm
and some little disturbs in the sexual-sphere (strongless erection and
sometimes lacking), so the cure seems not to be so good.
I've read in the prostatitis.org site and in this ng about the Kai Kit Wan
Pills and I was looking for it. I've found a site which do international
shipping (I stay in Italy):
http://drug-store-china.com/prostategland/kai_kit_wan/ My questions are:
1- This brand/kind of Kai Kit Wan and its composition is good?
2- Is this offer cheap enough, considering I have to do a international
order and many other site don't do it?
3- How can I be sure that this and similar products they are not dangerous,
one for all - in example - for containing heavy metal?

Thanks to all and forgive me for my not perfect english

I assembled the Chinese Pills page many years ago. I am not an expert on
Chinese Pills, but they are one remedy that you can try.

The web site quotes a price of US $ 34.80 incl. Shipping for 180 pills.
When I bought some of these pills in 1996 or 1997, I think I paid no
more than $5 for 90 pills. There are 90 pills in a bottle. If the price
that they quote includes shipping from Thailand to Italy, then perhaps
it is reasonable. I live in suburban Washington DC, in the USA. We have
many Chinese people here, and stores where we can buy Chinese things.

You could also try Jin Gui Shen Qi Wan, if you can get those cheaper.

Good question, Chinese medicines are usually thought of as harmless, but
the question is a good one.

Have you tried rooibos tea? Rooibos tea is helpful to me and should be
pure, since it is sold through normal food channels. It comes from South
Africa, but I think you can buy it in Europe. You can search on the web
with the one word rooibos . The Latin name for the plant is Aspalathus
linearis, but people often mis-spell the Latin name. Just search for
rooibos.

Buona fortuna!

I've searched for it and I find that I can buy it In Italy. I've read that
is reach in flavonoids (including quercitin in small amounts). Can I know
how it helps you?

I would also like to have a medic opinion about my particular situation,
since many of this alternative remedies have its main property in reducing
prostate's volume and I have not this problem (my prostate is a little
smaller than normal: vol. 18ml; weight 19gr.).

For me the rooibos tea is a good anti-inflammatory. My symptoms now are
mild, not so bad as 6 years ago. I have a little spot that burns and
then it causes the urethra to be sore, and I have frequent urination.
When I drink rooibos tea, it reduces the burning. It seems to relax
everything and the urine will flow more freely.

I think the rooibos also has a long-term benefit, helping me to get
better over time. But it does work quickly if I drink several cups.

Also, if I am a little tired, rooibos tea will make me sleepy. If I am
well rested, this does not happen, only if I am tired.

I get a similar effect from apple juice, which is quite cheap and easy
to buy in America. It reduces inflammation and may make me sleepy. I
think apple juice also has quercetin in it.

I have taken quercetin pills, but they are a little expensive and I find
that apple juice or rooibos works better.

Arrivederci, Joe.

Hi, Jim:

is it true that rooibos does not belong to tea family?
how different is it from normal red tea?

Best Regards,
Andy.

Hi Andy, I've taken my first cup of rooibos yesterday (I've been able to buy
it in a herb-shop near home). I also bought some bee poll, since I've read
it can be used with profit in this pathology.
I hope I'll be able to report some good news in the next months.
Regards
