Four Years With A Kidney Stone Blocking My Urinary Tract!!!

About four years ago, I complained to my urologist that I thought I
was passing or had passed a kidney stone. He noted that I was not
expressing or displaying the typical pain associated with kidney
stones and thought that I probably had a UTI. Three years of Bactrim
on a regular basis, loads of discomfort and two revisits to the
urologist, resulted in a dye test which disclosed no kidney stones.

But the pain and discomfort lingered on. I had explained that I was
not ejaculating but that aroused little interest either. Finally, in
late July of this year, I returned to the urologist and insisted that
I had a blockage of some kind within the urinary tract within my
penis. With an air of professional disdain, the urologist made
arrangements to 'scope' my bladder.

He found, a kidney stone lodged about two inches from the exit and
another lodged at the point the urinary tract passes thru the
prostate! My prostate symptoms have all gone away! No more Bactrim,
no more ongoing infections, no burning and no pain after sitting and
no constant urge to urinate. I don't expect my doctor or urologist to
be God, they make as many errors as I do myself. I do wish they would
listen better and not assume so damn much
